Edulyn college section teachers are allowed to teach only the subjects they specialized in; we put round pegs in round holes. Edulyn college is a teaching and learning industry. The guiding principle for all Edulyn college teachers is “When teaching is done learning is done and when there is no teaching, there will be no learning.
The Section is led by the Head of Secondary and he is supported by two Assistants – Academics and Administration. We also have male and female Guidance Counsellors.
These activities provide a channel for enhancing and extending lessons learned in the classroom. They offer the students the opportunity to apply academic skills in a real world context as part of our holistic educational programme.
The following are the extra-curricular activities provided by the Secondary Section of the school:
Boarding facilities
All boarding students live in the school hostels. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Each hostel is supervised by qualified boarding staff who ensure the welfare of all children under their care.
There is a stimulating programme of activities that make life out of school socially stimulating and educational. There is also school fellowship to develope mighty mind. We provide a home where students learn how to care for themselves, their rooms, their belongings and care for the larger community in which they live.
We believe that all students should have the feeling of being home-away-from-home. We have well equipped and fully furnished accommodation for the comfort of our students. Students have access to study areas, reading materials, board games, GOTV as well as laundry and ironing facilities. The dormitories are of different sizes with rooms ranging from 4 to 10 students.
Home school partnership is essential to our success.
Parents and Guardians should always feel free to contact the school to discuss issues affecting their child/ward. We have an open door policy, so please feel free to contact us at any time. The happiness and wellbeing of all of our students is our upmost priority.
